How do you make your cocreative glass art?

First I sit with the plant. I connect with the plant and explain what I am wanting to do. Some plants are not interested, but most are. I ask the plant how they want to be represented in art. I ask how they want to be seen so people can connect with their spirit more fully. In the same way that others can understand our spirits better based on clothing we might wear, the plants show me how they would like to be dressed. Once we have created a pattern together, the piece is created with intention and reverence toward the plant. All plant materials are gathered with permission of the plant, and an offering is left in return.

Where do you source your plant material?

Most plant material comes directly from my garden. It is all organic, and lovingly tended by myself and my family. All material for the stained glass line comes from this garden. Any plants I do not grow in enough quantity to use medicinally, I supplement with material from local organic farmers or Mountain Rose Herbs.
