About us

Mist & Moss Botanicals is a woman owned and operated small business located in East Tennessee. All our products are lovingly handmade and infused with a specific intent, which is listed in the description for each item.

Mist & Moss stemmed from a desire to provide both accessible and unusual ways for people to connect with plants and plant medicines.

When shopping for ritual candles, Caitlin overwhelmingly found paraffin and fire safety hazards. She set out on a mission to create a spell candle that was as beautiful as it was functional, with the magical boost of plant-y goodness, without the dangers of burning herb chunks.

Seeking more ways to sit with and meditate on the plants in her own home, she turned to another hobby - stained glass art. She wanted to work with the plants to co-create pieces that were beautiful and truly represented the spirit of each plant. Thus, Ritual Colored Glasses was born.

As an herbalist, Caitlin felt called to create spagyric medicines. Understanding that tinctures aren't a good fit for everyone and every situation, she started creating other products so everyone can experience the power of plants in their life.
